Occupational therapists must renew their registration in the College of Occupational Therapists of British Columbia (COTBC) every year.
Registrants will receive renewal forms and information through the mail by mid-May of each year. These must be returned by June 30. A late penalty fee is applied to renewal registrations received after July 31.
The annual registration renewal forms can be downloaded below. Complete and mail with your fees and any other required documentation to the COTBC office. Current fee and penalty information can be found on the registration form.
Please note that you are also required to provide verification of your professional liability insurance to the COTBC with your registration renewal.
If your registration number starts with AA, AB, AC or AD, you are also required to submit a Criminal Record Check and approved payment. Please See the Criminal Records Check Instruction Guide for more information.
