Registrant Binder
Registrant Information and Resources Manual
Occupational therapists receive a binder containing the manual once they become registrants. These binders contain official documents about the regulation of the practice of occupational therapists in B.C. They are designed to help registrants understand
- the expectations for professional practice (such as the Essential Competencies of Practice for Occupational Therapists) and ethical conduct (Code of Ethics), and
- how the College Board meets its mandate (Occupational Therapists Regulation, COTBC Bylaws).
Registrants are also encouraged to keep their Self-Assessments, Professional Development Plans and Declaration Forms (not required in 2012) in their binder.
Most documents in the binder are available here as PDFs.
