New or changing legislation impacting the practice of occupational therapy is reported here. These can be immediate or pending. Pending changes allow occupational therapists to prepare and make any necessary changes specific to their practice context.


Amendments to the BC Motor Vehicle Act, Section 230, Report of medical condition or impairment. (pending)

Changes to Health Care (Consent) and Care Facility (Admissions) Act formalize Advance Directives (Sept. 1, 2011)
