The College is responsive, credible and accountable demonstrating leadership by how it governs and conducts its business. The College is committed to building, maintaining and enhancing operations to ensure overall effectiveness and long term viability.

2.     Registrant Competence

 
The College provides registrants with effective programs to promote and monitor their competence. Registrants must have the knowledge, skills, abilities and judgement to maintain, continuously enhance and monitor their practice.

2.3     Registrants meet regulatory obligations.

3.     Registrant Engagement

 
The College informs registrants about the obligations and expectations of a regulated professional. Communication with registrants is essential and includes a system for registrant participation and feedback with the college.
 
3.1     Registrants clearly understand the role of the College as a regulatory body.
 
3.2     Registrant participation is sustained, productive and viewed by registrants as a positive professional experience.
 
 

4.     Accountability to the Public 

 
The College informs the public about their rights to safe, ethical and competent occupational therapy practice. Communication with the public includes demonstration of accountability.
